Fully Automated Liquid Handling Workstations

Fully automated liquid handling workstations play a key role in compound collection at Evotec. The ability to transfer entire racks or plates between formats enables high-density compression from 96- to 1536-well plates, supporting the preparation of high-throughput screening collections for hit identification. The systems are also used to generate compound collection in mixture for high-throughput AS-MS assays and proteomics screening. Highly accurate compound preparation is ensured through precise, reproducible liquid handling across all formats, enabling dilution and plate reformatting at any scale.

Acoustic Tubes

Our Biomek i7 platforms enable the creation of entire compound collections in acoustic tubes—a key capability now offered by Evotec to all its customers and partners. The tubes enable contactless, ultra-low volume transfer of compounds with high accuracy and minimal dead volume during preparation workflows. They reduce compound waste, prevent cross-contamination and support reliable and scalable compound preparation.

Automated Liquid Handling Platform

This platform is essential to Evotec’s compound preparation as it provides precise, high-throughput dispensing and dilution of compounds. It is often used to create dose response curves in 384 or 1536 formats. Some of Evotec’s systems are fully integrated into automation cells, which minimizes human error while ensuring full traceability and highly scalable workflows.
